The Autumn Make Up And Nail Varnish Essentials Tag {for winter}

Hiya fellow bloggers!

Today I went to twitter and asked you guys to dm and tweet me ideas for my next few blog posts! Now I picked an idea thats come up a lot in my mentions and dm's and that is The Autumn Make Up And Nail Varnish Essentials Tag! And I decided to give it a go!! Now I think all these products are affordable and not too expensive, so theyre in or around everyone's price range! So let's get started..

Now in the autumn I personally think that lipsticks are a must have because if you use darker, redder shades then you're creating a more autumnal look for yourself! In the pictures below you can see I have selected some of my lipsticks, therefore I know I need to go out and buy some more autumnal shades of reds and browns. Some good lipsticks I have are a nice bright red one called mistress by Kelly Brook, see I think bright reds and oranges are still acceptable in the autumn/winter months. I've also got a selection from Collection and L&B, not many people have heard of that probably.

So the next essential thing to have or use in the autumn/winter months is blusher, compact powder or bronzer. Its your choice in which one you use. Below you can see a variety of the ones I use this time of year. I do use better products than these sometimes but you know what, I wanted to make this an affordable blog post for you guys. Now I use the Miss Sporty 'ohh tan so fine' bronzer/shimmer all year round as I think it's pretty good for in the summer especially! And for blusher I also use two particular shades from L&B. I personally think that pinker, darker berry pinks look better in the winter months because I think its more of a warmer colour and brings out your cheeks more. Last thing is compact powder, now a good one is from the Tesco range VIVO, it's great because it's cheap, comes with a pad and a mirror so it's easy to carry around with you when your on the go - a real must have this winter!

Another thing that I think is pretty important is lip lacquers and lipglosses. I love lip lacquers, they're amazing! So seen as though it's the party season, red and darker colours work best and look great! A couple of products I use are the Rimmel London Apocalips Lip Lacquers, I have the shade 303 Apocaliptic. This shade is really bright and pink but it's still great but thats why I am going to invest in some more of them but deeper, darker colours. A lipgloss I love using is the Barry M limited edition one that came with one of the Impulse sprays. I love this lipgloss purely because it tastes of bubblegum!! Yummy!

Next thing is eyes! Now I use many products on and around my eyes so I'll share quite a few of them with you now. So firstly, I use two main palettes, look below. I use the Undressed Palette from MUA and a lip and eye palette from Marks and Spencers. I love these palettes because they have a variety of colours that you can darken and lighten. And I love them. It's time to step out your comfort zone this month and try something different. Glitter, neutral and berry colours such as cranberry colours are a lot more acceptable at this time of year and I love these colours especially to use this time of month. I use eyeshadow palettes from L&B, MUA, Marks and Spencers make up range, beauty UK, VIVO, and Rimmel.

A must have thing in the winter months is lip balm!! Now I use the Maybelline New York Baby Lips and just ordinary Vaseline, in the flavour Aloe-Vera. I love both of these because they provide long lasting moisturisation. You need something that is going to keep your lips hydrated and moisturised during the winter.

And last of all is Nail Varnish. Glitter, browns, reds, beiges purples and darker colours are all must have colours for your nails this season. I dont own that many because I prefer my bright, summery colours. But some of my favourites are these (by the way, these are older nail varnishes so the names might have changed now):

-Rimmel Londons Lasting Finish nail polish in the colour 061 Exotica.
-NO7 Ultimate Nail Colour in the colour Rouge 635.
-17, Supreme Shine, Up To 10 Day Wear Nail Polish in the colour Wicked, 36 I think
-Rimmel London's Lasting Finish Nail Polish in the colour 214 purple rain
-Rimmel London's 60 seconds nail varnish in the colour 610 pompous
- And finally, the last two from the body shop are the nail colour range in the shades: Is It Red? And Almost Bare.

Okay so thats it for now! Thank you for reading! See yous next week!
